James used to come up with Riffs and record them on his crappy cell phone and send them to us. I remember listening to it and thinking, ok, we definitely will be able to write another album full of riffs. This song is a monster if you stop and listen to all the details in the recording. It is one of the best arranged songs I think we have ever done.
lyrics
Late night and the jailhouse is dead.
I need a $2 drink and some $10 head.
She lived just accross the road.
I gotta 6 pack of rubbers and I got 'em to go.
We can leave this ghost town, leave it all behind.
A tumble weed connections further down the line.
We can ride these rails, it's all up to you.
I am the law around here, what are you gonna do?
I got an itchy trigger finger.
You gotta bounty on you.
I got an itchy trigger finger.
You gotta body, you got a body on you.
Silver Star and I shoot to kill.
Chase tail and $100 bill.
There's gold in them hills and pearls in her eyes.
I gotta warrant, she's gotta cherry pie.

If you like music that’s even remotely heavy, this EP is for you. It’s hard rock, heavy metal, doom metal, stoner rock, and so much more. My only question is this: WHEN WILL SONIC MEDUSA RECORD AGAIN? Kirk Gauthier
