A lot of people think this song is about STDs...........it is actually about getting older and......well, still having it!
lyrics
Well I've seen better nights and not too many days
I've spent a decade in a poisoned purple haze
I've done dirty deeds
Gotten dirty looks
Got a library of little black books
I still got it, and I'm giving it to you
I still got it, and I'm giving it to you
Although I wrote the rules, no need to play the game
Any action I need will call me out by name
A moment spent in heaven
I've payed rent in hell
It ain't over baby, I've got half a soul to sell
I still got it, and I'm giving it to you
I still got it, and I'm giving it to you
I've changed it's not the same
Only the action and heart and soul remain
I still bring the noise
I still bring the pain
I've still got it, it's not the same
Well I've seen better nights and not too many days
I've spent a decade in a poisoned purple haze
I've done dirty deeds
I've gotten dirty looks
Got a library of little black books
I still got it and I'm giving it to you

To me this is like 70ies Heavy Metal in nearly all aspects. I can understand the comparisons to Motörhead but to me they don’t really sound like them, except maybe for the Heavy Blue style lead breaks. What they do have is the drive, gravelly vocals and swagger of Motörhead. This they have that in buckets. Super fun Heavy Metal/Hard Rock that just doesn’t age. Harry Harrison
