The 'stoner blues' album for me. It really does it. I've heard better blues, I've heard better stoner rock. But in combining both of those, they've really set the stage on this album. Rock on, Matt. Wait, who?

Stoner rock/metal with a classic rock filter with intelligence. Great song and timing structures, heavy, big catchy riffs. Vocals are in the level. This album definitely has more of an edge compared to their follow-up album, but it's not even fair to compare one album with another of the same artist when they evolve. Can't go wrong at all picking either/or both albums up here on Ripple 💀💀💀 😵😵😵

The tendency towards 70's organ driven rock (like Deep Purple, Iron Butterfly, and Vanilla Fudge) played second fiddle to the Sabbathy proto-metal on earlier albums. It is now front and center. The end result is, in my opinion, more original in terms of modern acts that are digging deep into the sounds of the 70s. Everything, but especially the vocals, is far more soulful and progressive on Apprehensions. Love the song in what I assume is Finnish.
